Danyang-gu's greetings on a trip to the Korean temple

  73 Guin-gil, Yeongchun-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do It is a temple located at the foot of Sobaeksan Mountain in Yeongchun-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, and is the headquarters of the Cheontae Order of Korean Buddhism. Known as the largest temple in Korea, buildings are lined up along the valley. Including Jeokmyeolgung Palace at the top of Suribong Peak, where the valley is located, the entire valley and the top of the mountain are located from a large rock stone marked with Sobaeksan Mountain Guinsa at the foot of the mountain. Although it is enormous in size, it is different from the Jogye Order's temples, which mainly use buildings for Buddhist purposes, except for Seolbeopbojeon, Daejojeon, and Gwaneumjeon Hall. Sangwol Wongak Daejosa, a major founder of the Cheontae Order in Korea, made a pilgrimage to Munsudoryang and Amisan Fortress in 1930 from China and Tibet, and then returned to Korea in 1936 and built a thatched house in Sobaeksan in early 1945.
